What am I doing right and/ or wrong, when landing the LaGG-3?

first: well done, landing was very smooth!
second: could be improved: you are coming in too low
third: according to briefing the circuit is the other way round :-)
cheers vladi

Vladi is correct. The pattern was way too drug in. An engine or prop failure at that altitude would result in a crash. Also, an approach and landing where you use the traffic pattern correctly makes for an orderly flow for all aircraft.

Do you use full aft stick primarily for braking? The LaGG is more forgiving than the MiG, which seems to really hate its own brakes.

Your aircraft is smoothly flown, the touchdown was gentle and shows an adept hand. You should have no problem flying a perfect pattern.

Vladi & Conan,
Thanks for the info guys. I am definitely going to incorporate your advice into my next session, on Friday evening.

Do well and be well, always.

@ Vladi, I am using the brakes, but not always full back stick. I need to watch that, especially later on with the Yak-1. I think the Yak-1 was nose heavy. : :D

@ Conan, From now on, I am going to pay very, very, very close attention to briefing documents.
