Welcome to the Pacific

Postby =69.GIAP=STENKA » Fri Feb 10, 2012 10:52 am

Originaly the 69.GIAP was built up in the European timezone. This means activities start around 19:00 Zulu. Zulu time is UTC sometime referred to as GMT to see what time that is look above the menu on the left.

We then developped activity in the Amerika timezone so that our Amerikans have campaigns and fly together in the USA/Canada evenings.

We are now getting interest from players in the Asia Pacific Timezone. Where possible they may play early afternoon with Amerika zone players but they need to develop flying activity in the evenings of the Asia Pacific Timezone.

Now the first thing to do is to get together and start flying together in online servers. The squad Teamspeak server runs 24x7 and we almost always have IL2 and ROF servers open to fly in.

So if you want to fly this timezone post up here, suggest when to meet up and what you want to do. Senior squad members can help with advice and technical support but it's down to you to get activbe and start having fun!
Baaaaaaaaagh!

Heresy! :)

Valya, this is English, not Hebrew! Vowels can be used to distinguish between names. Give it a try.

This applies to nouns also. a Val is an airplane and a vole is a small mammal. They should not be confused with each other.

Hawks eat voles, not Vals.

Hmm an aviator's "wings" badge is called a vol. That *might* be confusing. :)
C!

Tushka

Flying isn't dangerous. Crashing is what's dangerous.

I've been studying too much ancient egyptian lately. No vowels there either.

I have fed a vole to a hawk before though. Was fun to watch, not so much fun to gut it beforehand.

it's good to have asia timezone.
Anyway I coud fly night so time zone is not that big problem. Sunday campaigns are hard for me cause it literally means Monday here in asia timezone. Saturday campaigns are good for me.

See my post here http://phpbb.69giap.com/viewtopic.php5? ... ght=#55742

I have also made a post at SEOWHQ asking what campaigns are underway in this time zone.

We can help but if your in this time zone you need to get together and get something going.
