Congratulations comrades! Uncle Joe is surely proud somewhere in his chambers thinking of such marvelous Russian men climbing up the ladder
I'm sure he's especially proud of comrade PLOSKA and his espionage work behind enemy lines. Where is comrade PLOSKA? Undercover as a Gestapo officer somewhere in the five hells of Berlin, extracting newest data on Bf109s inability to turn to the right? Conveying bogus data to the enemy, directing his troops away
from the front lines? We should get a depeche out to him to get him come home so he can receive his promotion to the tune of Katyusha, performed by all of the Giap!
My friends from the logistics and supply just crossed the northern mountains on their donkeys to get us fresh potato peelers (seems they were in short supply as of late), and they told me of a nice kolkhoz just below the mountains with especially friendly farmer who invited them for a drop of home made brandy. His daughter brought it to them, just as they were commenting on Mother Russias flowing hills and erect boulders they've just struggled with on their way there. Irina was her name, yes, and apparently she can cary a tune, too
